Tel: 6396 0609

There isn't a big crowd when we were there and the staff are friendly.
They are rather fast at clearing up, but they would not chase one out even when you are done consuming the food.

The price is on the fair side, but there isn't a vegetarian meal.
But they are rather flexible when it comes to special order, so overall, I do like the ambience.

It is a cozy place (maybe because it was raining then) with cute decorations being put up for Christmas.
I find the desserts too fusion for my taste. Yes, I prefer the traditional type of Cheese Cake with the crust.

Little details were being taken care of and almost every corner is being decorated sincerely. A lovely place definitely!

Great day out with love, snapping our day away

Yes, I was there some time back before ah xun flew for his exchange.
We had the urge to go karaoke back then!

Aww, I'm missing this group of lovelies already.

I personally prefer Switch to Timbre. Probably because I listen to more Chinese songs than English ones, I find myself more comfortable at Switch! Or maybe it was just the company for that matter :)

I heard that reservations are possible but it has to be made way in advance to avoid disappointment (Only 50% of their seatings are available for reservations!).

Anyhow, that lady above sang pretty well.
Yes, I love ladies with thick, husky type of voice. That type of voice inflict some sort of pain naturally, at least for me. And I will never be able to sing that way (Probably why I look up to people who have that type of voice naturally).

I remember chatting with a friend on the topic of local bands.
There are a lot of talented musicians here in Singapore, and so I rally hate it when people say there's no talent here. Talents don't necessary mean that they make it big somehow out there, that they are popular and well-received.

When you attend festivals like Baybeats and Mosaic you get to hear awesome bands! The freshman is one of my favourite! Atlas is another.
Local bands are good. They just lack that exposure and support. Or probably because we only have such a small market here. One has to risk to another more established music circle overseas in order to be more successful.

Saladworks @ JEM

SaladWorks

JEM #02-19
50 Jurong Gateway Road, Singapore 608549
Contact No: 6225 5536

Although there isn't any crowd when I was there (or almost nobody), I guess it's not because they dont have that reputation. In fact, Saladworks offers a "fanatically fresh" menu of America's Best Salads, great wraps, soups, and fusion and panini sandwiches.

Perhaps, Singaporeans still prefer Hawker/Foodcourt food? Okay, I'm saying that for myself!

You can choose to customise your own salad to control calories in take.

I felt that the whole building was too cold in general; I was shivering throughout the meal.

There is so much fibre for that meal I felt that I was too healthy; guess what happened to me the next day? Hahaha.

Yes, I'm not a fan of salad, or anything raw in fact. So for me, I find the salad a little too pricy. But if you are one of those who are on healthier meal, it's a must try!

I was still a little hungry after, so went to look for cookies!

I'm so in love with this place, the smell of the cookies just melted me. I could stay there the whole day, it just makes me feel good and happy!

My first trip to JEM then.
(So now you know how long this post was >.< )

& a desert at IMM to end off the day!

Blackball
IMM #01-48
Contact Tel: 6897 0282

Maybe my day was affected by something a little that day. I didn't enjoy this bowl (which was recommended by a lot) that much. Maybe it was just my mood that was affecting everything else. I will head back when I have the chance to be fair to them!

Bespoke Vegetarian Restaurant

Bespoke Japanese Vegetarian Dining

Contact: 63377050
Opening Hours: Daily 11.30am-3.00pm & 5.30pm-10.00pm

Duck with Mushroom
$12
I find this way too salty and sweet personally.

Green Tea Soba Set
$18
I love love love this set, every bit! :D

P.S. This is an old post.
Other than Herbivore, this is the only Japanese Restaurant I have been to.
I still prefer Herbivore to Bespoke, but their is still excellent (except to be more cautious of their salt level - same for Herbi!)

And I haven met this group for a long long time.

All of us are heading in different directions; it's as though we were forced to distant because of the different goals and purposes we have in life.

But I think otherwise. To me, we don't have to meet everyday to maintain a good, strong relationship. It's precisely that we do not have much time to meet up that we should then treasure every moment we have for one another.

Yes, I have been thinking a lot about relationship these days - from romance, kinship to friendship. I will probably do a post soon when time permits. But just like what I have shared with my close friends, I need a long break. A break from everything else. I need to go overseas, cut myself off from everything else.

I have always wanted to travel out alone, myself. A journey without a destination, no plans, no agenda, no one to account for. I need to sort out my thoughts. It has been overwhelming, and somehow I know I'm confused deep down.

Dearests, I miss y'all. How have y'all been?

A vintage home store and cafe, selling carefully curated furniture, home decor, fresh home-made baked goods and confectionery.

I paid this lovely cafe a visit with my loves some time back.

We went there after lunch, so I only tried the lemon tart. It was refreshing!
I always adore the feeling that cafe brings upon some form of peace and comfort in me. Furthermore, vintage is a die-hard love.

The ambience was so soothing, I wish I could stay longer. As I grow up, I enjoy places that can slow my life down, slow my pace down. Even if it only last for that moment, it is a form of escapism. I felt that I was out of city in that moment. I felt I was in this cozy little dream-like house, filled with love and pacify from within.

A must go place if you have yet to visit this amazing cafe!

Chrysan & I finally figured why the four of could click almost instantly. We are so different yet alike at the same time.
Anyhow, none of us would deny how much we like photography.
